On Saturday 25 at 22:00 Jakarta time. This is a special time for me because the new Justice League trailer is coming. As a DC fanboys, I am really impressed with it.
Exactly one year ago Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hit theaters. It was a good film actually but fans were complaining because of the lack of surprise. BvS was planting an action-packed flag in the ground for DC’s films, but the trailers almost everything important in the film. Why should they show the main villain in the trailers? Doesn’t it better to hide it until the release date?
DC and Warner Bros are now working on setting up the next comic giant’s own Avengers-like movie in Justice League. Say what you want about BvS, but Zack Snyder’s superhero opus took more risks and left more of an impression on fandom and the cinematic landscape at large than most superhero movies.
Zack Snyder seems to have bigger plan and vision in this project. Along with the release of the latest trailer for Justice League (hopefully in theaters November 17), the director finally unites Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and the Flash (Ezra Miller) in a monumental showdown.
Just spend some minutes to check it out.
Lots to chew on here for superhero fans, including the first look of all of heroes using their powers (including Batman, whose superpower is apparently “rich”). But, still the league is lacking of Superman.
Just how much of Superman we’ll see is the big question it appears they’re dangling over us at this point. Also, what kind of Superman will show up? Will he be eager to help his new friends save the day, or will he be another adversary they’ll be tasked with fending off? I prefer to let it as a mystery.
I am sure DC and Warner Bros and Snyder will answers at another time. Until then, we’ll be over here watching Aquaman leap off the hood of the Batmobile like a boss.
November can’t come soon enough. Unite and let me know what you thought of the trailer in the comment section.
